It is a pretty good community. The troll you mention is harmless enough, in need of attention and the "#1 blogger" designation. He relies on people who are new to comment on his blog because experienced people are either blocked or ignore him. He is the equivalent of the Village Idiot, every village has one or two. Don't apologize for poking back at the stupidity, nothing wrong with that.

Like Koffla says, I usually say block him....but that's another thing that's easier said than done. There are times he just pisses you off too much. Ridicule, however....that works. This prick is remarkably thin skinned. He's compensating for a deficiency, or several- a small dick, or a dick that doesn't work, or maybe both. It's got to be frustrating to reach his advanced years and still be so unfulfilled and unsatisfied. And, he's still entertaining himself with the equivalent of pulling wings off flies and frying ants on the sidewalk with a magnifying glass. This fucker's just the kind of strange and disturbed child who graduated from that to setting cats on fire. Do you reckon anyone has ever liked him?
