Food, Sex And Places In Your Heart The way to a man's heart, used to be through his stomach... .................................... It was their third date and he was hopeful. She greeted him at her door with a gentle kiss to his lips. He felt her softness and her warmth as he held her by the waist. The tight black dress she wore hugged her petite figure as she tiptoed to meet his embrace. He could feel the firmness of her breasts as she balanced herself, and pressed against his chest. Her scent, filled his nostrils as he closed his eyes and inhaled. He was instantly aroused. She closed her eyes as well, as she leaned up against him. "Here, I'll take that .", she smiled, and took the wine from his hand. Her apartment was small and the air was filled with the incredible odour of food. It smelled fabulous ! She had been preparing the meal all afternoon. She was Italian and had obviously been trained well. On the menu, was baked lasagna and her would have been proud. The arugula salad was placed on the table, on the edge of the black place mats, next to the silverware. The white linen, lace edged, table cloth, contrasted perfectly with the long, red candles, which had already been lit. They shimmered and flickered in the early dusk light - providing a perfect backdrop to the debut of a sultry, sensual evening. She had been planning this night for days, and to practised perfection, including the careful choice of the black thong that she wore - hopeful, that it would be sliding down her slim legs very soon. Her body tingled with anticipation, and even then - she felt herself getting moist. "Wanna open up the wine?", she asked as she reached for the bottle opener. The fresh homemade bread she had baked was still and the lasagna was on the stove - resting. She looked into his eyes and captured them with a loving glance. He looked back her and knew - 'this' was the night ! "Everything's ready. Let's eat...", she said as she beckoned him to his chair. It was to be a night where dreams were captured and perhaps, everlasting memories made. It would have been, a beautiful, and loving, night to remember - but, she was totally unaware of his allergy to nuts. She had baked her bread - with almond flour ! After the paramedics had left (bundling her ill, but recovering boyfriend away), she stood there in the empty kitchen, tears steaming down her . It was, a night to remember - but not one, that she would ever want to. She reached for the bread she had baked, opened the garbage bin - and threw it . ©September 2018 Paul P. .................................................................. So... Back in the day, the way to a man's heart, was through his stomach. Is that still true ? What is the way to win your heart and how do you win someone else's? I have a non life threatening allergy to nuts and this type of stuff used to happen to me all the time (minus the paramedics). I would have to ask the cook 0 Q's .I got tired of asking them after a bit and every once in a while - I'd get burned. Come on - almond flour ? I got burned with that one (almond flour in the bread) , at a restaurant once. .................................................................. I have to admit, that I will try and impress my lady by cooking her up a storm. I don't have any favorite - just whatever pops up... And then... Well - I'm still working on my personality... For me, one of the nicest and sure to win my heart things a man can do is cook for me. The ‘what’ doesn’t matter; the fact that he made the effort does.

That is very true and I know a lot of women who have husbands that can cook amazing meals but does she appreciate it , nope . I have yet to be with someone in anyway that can cook a meal for me.My late husband rest his soul could only manage the microwave for his own use or heated up leftovers fro a nice meal I always got to make..The effort would be so greatly appreciated..sigh!

I don't know if the Way of the Stomach.works but I do know that I still enjoy taking that path. I enjoy the simple pleasure of creating a meal as a prelude to "dessert" Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

Great story and thanks for sharing it with us, and we all should be reminded to ask a potential partner if they have any food allergies so they don't make the same mistake that she did. So sad it would of ended quite differently I am sure if she had of just asked him..Have a great day.. Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

I think the reason cooking for a man is the way to his heart is because of the sensual nature of eating a meal together. You know, putting things into your mouth...slowly...  A man can find his way to my heart just by being attentive and interested in hearing about my passions. If he cooks for me, a bonus. I feel spoiled when a man cooks for me.
