I admit that I am a visual person. I enjoy using pictures and GIFs (video) on my blog. I am aware that my "blog" does not meet the standards of a purists blog. But well, it is mine and I enjoy it. Do you enjoy the use of GIFs? Pictures? Or do you prefer only a text based blog? I see so many styles, and they all seem to have qualities that I enjoy. I found in my "archives" a video folder, many , I think I have not posted. so here they are, sexy and cheeky

This is a subject that we seem to be nagged about all the time. So why shouldn't I jump aboard and do some nagging also ? We all know that we should get some sort of exercise on a consistent basis. Life has a way of getting in the way and messing up our schedule. In my case, even though I have cut back from a very strict regime in years past , I still occasionally have conflicts and miss workout time. How do you handle your exercise needs? Have you had to modify what you used to do to fit your schedule or health?

I may be a little slow, but I just discovered some Little Johnny jokes. In some ways he reminds me of my youngest Godson. He is quick witted and can be brutally honest. I was thinking, how fortunate we are to be able to participate here in blogland. Amongst other things we are regaled with life advice. We have people of all ages and experiences. They are from different cultures and ethnicities. Some like me do have a bit cock eyed views, but overall we can benefit from the observations, comments and advice we are exposed to. This is an opportunity for you to share any life advice, observations comments with us. Here are some random bits, some tongue in cheek, but generally helpful. This first image is one of my favorites

My "thinker' is still a bit sore today  . So I thought I would recycle one of my previous posts today. I hope you enjoy.
I grew up in what I think was a much simpler time. There were good guys and bad guys in the movies. For a little boy, it seemed easier to know what was right and what was wrong. Of course, in my case, at that age I did not know that life was really not that simple. I have been spending time over the last few years watching TV programs with my Godsons and I am realizing, that there is no clear cut hero in their programs. Most of the shows seem to always have a dark side. I have searched around and have not found a clear cut hero. I am introducing more and more John Wayne into their viewing time. I work in discussions on how some of the ideas in the movies can not really happen, but they should always try to do what is right and to help others. Am I being too naïve in this time trying to do this? Do you have a TV or movie idol? Yes I can be a curmudgeon,,,,,,,, all little boys should be introduced to John Wayne.!!

Late last night as I was buttoning up the house for the evening, I had an incident,  . I was checking the brutes area and some how as I entered their enclosure I smacked my head on the roof . It knocked my a** down to the floor. As I got up, my language would have mad a sailor blush. I actually think I blistered some paint of the wall!! Unfortunately I had a cut on my head that was bleeding. I went in the house and checked in the bathroom mirror and saw I had a gash at the back of my head . I got a towel and held it over the cut and drove to a near by ER. Long and the short it was not too bad, 4 stitches and a bald spot on the back of my head. Have you had an incident lately that caused you injury? (If you did, I hope it was minor). I am looking for a "critical care" assistance, any volunteers?

My friend again emailed me a zinger. We are both the same age and boy is this scarily accurate . Are any of them striking close to home for you?
The location of your mailbox shows you how far away from your house you can be in a robe before you start looking like a mental patient.
*My therapist said that my narcissism causes me to misread social situations. I'm pretty sure she was hitting on me.
*My 60 year kindergarten reunion is coming up soon and I'm worried about the 175 pounds I've gained since then.
*I always wondered what the job application is like at Hooters. Do they just give you a bra and say, "Here, fill this out?"
*Denny's has a slogan, "If it's your birthday, the meal is on us." If you're in Denny's and it's your birthday, your life sucks!
*The pharmacist asked me my birth date again today. I'm pretty sure she's going to get me something.
*On average, an American man will have sex two to three times a week. Whereas, a Japanese man will have sex only one or two times a year. This is very upsetting news to me. I had no idea I was Japanese.
*I can't understand why women are okay that JC Penney has an older women's clothing line named, "Sag Harbor."
*I think it's pretty cool how Chinese people made a language entirely out of tattoos.
*What is it about a car that makes people think we can't see them pick their noses?

What a ray of sunshine a big smile is. I really dislike being around a bunch of sour puss, non smiling folks. Sharing your smile with others makes their day. Why not? it only takes a few facial muscles after all. I know it is sometimes difficult to smile, but It does improve your day. Sometimes that smile can be the result something naughty you did and know one will even know. To me the most infectious smile is a babies , so innocent . How about you, are you a smiler ? Do others smiles improve your day?

An inquiring mind wants to know. Do you go "unrestrained"? By that, I mean with ladies going without a bra? Men without some sort of underwear garment? I think for both such a restraint garment contributes to comfort. And I guess for the "prudes" amongst us ,we prefer things more proper in public. There are times when it is common, maybe at a beach, or a party. Are you offended at seeing a person unrestrained? Is it comfortable for you?

My friend sent this to me (he can be such an A** hole ) , I think I am giving up the idea of going to a nudist colony.
Nudist Colony
On his first day there he takes off his clothes and starts to wander around.
A gorgeous petite blonde walks by, and the man immediately gets an erection.
The woman notices his erection, comes over to him and says, "Did you call
for me?"
The man replies "No. What do you mean?"
"You must be new here," she says. "Let me explain. It's a rule here that if
you get an erection it implies you called for me." Smiling,
she then leads him to the side of the swimming pool, lies down on a towel,
eagerly pulls him to her and happily lets him have his way with her.
Finished, the man continues to explore the colony's facilities. He enters
the sauna and as he sits down, he farts.
Within minutes a huge, hairy man lumbers out of the steam room toward him.
"Did you call for me?" says the hairy man.
"No. What do you mean?" says the newcomer.
"You must be new," says the hairy man. "It's a rule that if you fart,
it implies that you called for me."
The huge man easily spins the newcomer around, bends him over a bench and
has his way with him.
The newcomer staggers back to the nudist colony office, where he is
greeted by the smiling, naked receptionist. "May I help you?" she says.
"Here's my membership card. You can have the key back and you can keep
the $500 membership fee." "But sir," she replies, "you've only been here for a few hours. You
haven't had the chance to see all our facilities." "Listen lady," the man replies, "I'm 71 years old. I get an erection once a
month, but I fart 15 times a day! I'm outta here!"

Yes I said it,, Coffee porn. I am feeding that addiction that plagues many of us. This dark hot beverage that can be served in many different configurations. We us it to comfort ourselves, please others and to be decadent at times. I am a self confessed coffee snob . I need a deep rich, and savory blend (wow I really am a snob ). How do you enjoy your coffee? What method of preparation? Do you play nice and share your coffee?

I was watching a program about clothing and choices. Things have evolved so much, there are so many ways to express ourselves by our choices. At work, casually, formally and more that I have forgotten . To look good, we do not need expensive clothes. Just pick what helps you to send the message you want. Maybe a little naughty, a bit of a flirt, or something formal. Since I am retired, I keep my "message" rather simple. How do you send your "message" ? I am sure many have several ways to do it, please share yours
